Solvelop is a veteran-owned software house in High Point, North Carolina. For years we built software for everyone else. Now we build and run four products of our own, and every one of them was a tool we used here before anyone else could buy it.

Every one of them started as something we needed to run this place, ran in production for years, and earned its way out. Designed, coded, hosted, and supported in-house. When you write to support, the person who built it answers.
Every client, project, task, file, and SQL script you have ever written, searchable, organized, and private to you. Import tasks from Asana, Wrike, or GitHub, attach files to private cloud storage, and hand clients a live status link.
The ChangeLog: a dated journal per project, so "what did I do in March" always has an answer.
Pulse divides the UTC day into 1000 millidays, so a moment is a single global value instead of a grid of city times. Connect Google or Microsoft calendars, share one booking link, and drop live anchors into Slack, Discord, Chrome, and a Windows tray clock.

A private archive for the handwritten recipes that only exist in one place: the index card, the back of a napkin, the margin of a church cookbook. No ads, no algorithm, no life story before the ingredients.

The practice becomes a company in High Point, North Carolina. Custom software, mobile apps, VoIP, integrations - for clients across the country, paid in dollars, crypto, or trade. The barter stories are true. And in the toolbox on day one: CLOC, the founder's private system of record, already running since 1999.
The first article about what would become Pulse is published: the case for keeping time as one global number instead of a grid of timezones. No product yet - just the argument for one.
Two builds go out under someone else's name. Linksaw, link shortening and custom QR codes, and Wally, an SMS and email platform rebuilt from a legacy codebase. Designed and coded here, owned and run by Linksaw LLC and Wally Solutions LLC.
The 2021 idea becomes a fixture: a Universal Internet Time clock ships at the bottom of this site. It refuses to stay a footnote.
The footer clock grows into Pulse, a scheduling product. The 1999 toolkit is rebuilt as CLOC, a subscription anyone can use. Both ship with their own domains, their own support, and their own roadmaps.
Two more internal tools stop being internal. Napkin, built to keep a family's handwritten recipes from disappearing. Woody, built because receipts were piling up faster than anyone would file them. Each one had already run for years before it got a domain.
AsBuilt keeps a SQL Server schema in a private GitHub repository, straight from SSMS. It is the first thing we have shipped without a price, because the people who need it are people like us.
Four products of our own, one free tool, and two built for other companies. None were market research - every one was a problem we had first and solved for ourselves, which is also why they stay maintained. Client work continues quietly, in small volume and by referral - if you need us, ask. But the products are the business.
